It’s as bad as Twitter before Twitter got REALLY bad.
A lot of people arguing about not voting creates change. Ugh.
Many who have never followed politics until this year. Main reason I stay here is most at Bluesky feel like foreign actors.

Twitter and BlueSky have WAY more reporters than CoSo, and I am a news junkie.
But, you cannot beat CoSo for having very few trolls.

Partner wanted a Blue Sky account. To be fair, there are a lot of people over there I used to follow on Twitter.
But there is an army of bots as well as people who are just too ignorant or precious to talk about politics (precious in they can’t sully themselves to vote and want to convince others to not vote).

When Elon Musk first took over Twitter and people were abandoning it, there was talk by the most followed people they would go to POST. They were excited that POST might actually pay for popular posts by the most popular people, reporters, pundits, and news organizations.
Post is not so good. Neither is BlueSky, Mastodon, or Threads.
CoSo is in a league by itself. 💃

I spend more time on the politics side and am AMAZED at the ignorance about politics.
One person TRIED to convince me that Biden could somehow force people onto the Supreme Court.
It was a very idiotic convo.

Bix, I thought mastodon was where most journalists are now? When I was on bluesky, most that I followed on the bird didn't seem to be there. Has that changed?
