I have been off social media for a while now. (Except to pop onto #CoSo now and again to say hi.) My motivation for using it was to tell people about my art. It never really amounted to much, and I have taken a step back from the digital world.

Today I made an “analog” social media post. I went to a coffee shop, did a quick sketch of Amsterdam, wrote my website address on the back and left it on a table. Much more satisfying than anything Meta or Musk can offer. And I even got coffee! #art

I think you are right but also partly because having my website in third person but my blog in first person might make the transition between different parts of my website strange. I still made some updates such that my main page just has examples of my different media and not descriptions. Then I link to the different sections. Really proud of my new song, Analog. Had a positive reception from musicians I respect. Curators on submithub listened to it multiple times before responding (vs like 20s with previous submissions). It hadn’t blown up or anything, play-wise but one thing I’m really proud of is that it has been added to 13 playlists! That hasn’t happened to any other song I’ve made. Something feels right about this track that I haven’t felt with my other music. #cosomusic #coso

Started a new music project to develop while I work on my current piece of writing. This has been a really fun story to write but it will probably take at least another 6 months to finish my first draft. Need to work on multiple things to stay sane and keep it fresh. #coso #cosonauts #cosomusic #amwriting
