I hadn’t thought too hard about it but I realized today that I spend over $100 a month on the pills that keep me sane. Every time I pick them up the pharmacist asks me “are you aware of how much these cost.” Every time I tell them how I would have to pay $1100 for a 90dy supply before they started making the generic.

“Ah so this is a deal then” they say back. Having this exact conversation is part of my monthly med ritual.

@BipolarArtist Why in heaven's name is the pharmacist asking you that?

Are they trying to warn you? Blame you?

@AskTheDevil warn me I guess? Like I am going to say “good lord that is so expensive put it back on the shelf” like I have a choice whether or not I take them.

@AskTheDevil haha usually that involves talking to your med provider about switching to a cheaper medicine. But these ones work amazingly for me and are worth the money to me (even though I think all meds should be free to the consumer).
