Someone got Ubuntu Touch to run on their Redmi 9c! One of my dream projects is to one day install Linux on a smart phone so I can leave iPhone and Android.
This gives me hope.

@BigMikey i had a phone with ubuntu, Spanish phone maker BQ was selling Ubuntu phones. It was 2018 or 2019... I quickly returned the back to the seller. The project was not very well developed and the phone was not very useful. Not sure if it is more developed now...

@MariusRime that was a very real issue at the time. I have heard it has improved but I have yet to try it for myself.
