So, the other day my kid got jumped - tooted about it.

Turns out, it's a little worse... while getting beat one of the other kids pulled my kid's pants down and shot photos/video of their naked ass.

My kid found out upon returning to school yesterday where the photos/video were being circulated throughout school, during school hours, via text message.

Spoke to school, was assured it would be handled. Never had a situation like this before, what's a reasonable expectation for school action?

For anyone that was following...

School called with an update. All those involved suspended, notes in perm record. The SRO opened some sort of investigation into the student that took the original photos/vids and seized the phone as part of the investigation. I also received a call from SRO (independently) and was notified that the PD is investigating.

My first time through this (hopefully only), but looks like they took it seriously.

@PrivacyL0st Retired SRO here. That means thenpolice are conducting a criminal investigation. The school should also have discipline to make sure what occurred on their campus has a school penalty, make sure they don’t just dump it on the police as its a school problem too. You may also be contacted by Social Services as this is also a Child Abuse issue.
