I feel so stupid I booked hotel for the wrong date. it's past the cancellation time frame it was on one of those third party sites. so I've been attempting to call the hotel they won't pick up. I'm just hoping they will change my reservation. I sure would think they would since I still plan on going there but who knows with places these days.
@AmserJ I was able to call the hotel directly and got it canceled. the timeline had expired on the third party end
@Bacon I have been able to change dates on third party apps. I mostly use Booking.com these days. Good luck!
