Day three of doing nothing in a row, and I like being able to go to bed without shame because of the importance that has been placed on "daily word count" and "publish 20 books a year, or fail".

One of these days, I'll write about all the trauma I've experienced in the indie publishing world. Not to deter people from it, but to let them know what to look out for.

I think tonight is the night I introduce my horse loving child to "Hey Dude". Need some more suggestions for an 8 year old. Everything I'm coming up with is not quite age appropriate.

Feeling anxious this morning about the day job, and I'm not quite sure why. But my neck hurts and I'm so flipping tired.

Did nothing again. Don't really care. I'm not going to care for all of May as per my reset declaration. So be more surprised IF words happen rather than if they do not.

I'm tired this morning. Had some storms roll through, and the kids were all freaked out and thus no sleep.

I've decided may is "reset" month. Physically I've been in a lot of pain from ignoring my body's needs. Mentally I'm in pain because I can't keep up with everything I wanted to do. So reset. Start from the beginning. Summer is when I'll be able to really crush it. The day job ends, and I get a lot of time back.

I think I'm going to take more time off from words this week. Something is still not quite feeling right. I just need to make sure I don't forget how to do it because I wait too long to try writing again. It's a tough balance.

@MMH I've had a week of those. It's time to get back to it. Just got to do it carefully.

Okay, today I am dipping my toes back into social media/writing. We'll see how this goes. I'm pretty emotionally drained, but I need to channel my energy productively.
