My brain says make a taco salad. My heart says make a burrito.

The heart usually wins this argument.

Stalled at 1667 words for the day. I'd love to squeak out another 1300+.

@JGranvilleJJ lol it's not really a nap, but just a way for me to get away without questions/interruptions.

Sometimes I "nap" because it's the only time I can plot in a quiet place and people will leave me alone.

1000 words in for the day. I suppose I should eat lunch. Second Breakfast isn't quite tying me over.

Anyone else afraid to hit refresh for fear they'll lose the site again?

I didn't do those 910 words. I ended up rage quitting last night. Hopefully today is less grumpifying and I can get something productive done since I'm home all day again.

Good morning to all of my new friends! Last night was rough, but I woke up feeling refreshed this morning.

I've still got a sick kiddo today. He's right on that border of "could go" "shouldn't go", so even though it frustrates the day job, I'm keeping him home for that extra rest and because it's better to not infect a classroom of kids with a cold in the middle of a pandemic. Or so I'm told. We shouldn't be doing that regardless, but...ya know.

Yes, we've tested for Covid.

I'm supposed to write 910 more words to meet my goal for the night. I think I need to do this off of the computer, though. There are too many distractions and they're giving me too many feels.

I'll let you all know if I succeed when I return in the morning!

@theunabeefer Yeah, that helps me too. I'm behind on my works on there at the moment. Just been a weird creative funk for a long time.

@Davski Going to try not to. I'm still hopeful!

Ever get that feeling that you're so desperate to find "your people" that you feel silly/stupid and go about it in all the wrong ways? Just me? Sigh.

What am I working on? I've got a list, because I can't stay focused enough to work on only ONE project.

1) Untitled Prince of Dreams Novel - Epic length fantasy that's definitely all over the place. This is the one I'm trying to deep dive into.

2) Season 1 of The Labyrinth - A fantasy take on the "Big Brother" reality TV show.

3) "The Rebellion of Piper" - Book2 of my Musings series. It's about muses and is sappy.

4) "The Touched" - Series continuation about dragon shifters.

@sleepingbearcat I'll have to learn how to group my hashtags so I can see them better in my feed. Thanks!

I guess I'll do a as well.

I'm a writer of , , and other genres that aren't very easy to define. Sometimes it's superheroes and aliens. Sometimes it's dragon shifters. Sometimes it's a weird blend of everything.

My current goals are to get myself that coveted big six publishing contract. I've already self published, and I've already done indie presses. Time to do something new.

I currently post some of my work on Wattpad.

@Comrade_Brad I think it's good to have separate places from readers/fans to talk shop/whine and not be shamed for it. Can't do that while marketing. Or so I've been told.

@sleepingbearcat Hoping that's a more hopping hashtag. When I got here this morning it was crickets, lol.
