As part of my plan for aging well, I've invested time and energy in building friendships, especially with younger people, many more than 40 years younger than me. Sunday and Monday illustrated the ROI. I ran the Boston half marathon with 5 friends from my local parkrun, all in their 30s and two aged 40. We had a great time, supported each other, & took a group photo at the end.
