My mom drove a Buick station wagon in the 50s.... like this but all a dark blue if I remember correctly.

I remember her grabbing me before I fell out of it rounding a curve and the door popped open... sitting with her in the front seat.. no seatbelts. I was about 4 or 5 at the time.

If you were able to do all the maintenance and body work on a car like that in this modern age, it would be a nice model to choose.

@tgraph52 I tried to restore an MGB and I had it running and the electrical systems working ( they are a thing with MGs). I had a fellow do the body work and he messed it up. I sold it.
