If you didn’t see her on America’s Got Talent, you should take a few minutes to listen to this 17 year old sing. I got goosebumps and joyous tears, and so did many in the audience. Just outstanding and heartwarming.
@TessaForDemocracy I feel this too, despite for different reasons. I suffer of severe depression, and I can’t understand WHY, and I mean WHY?! Now that the far-right (=fascists, even if they don’t wanna to accept this word) is at the government, :( all their fascio-nazi supporters seem to behave like if their violent acting is permitted and justified. So there’s no limit. Every mundane conversation abruptly turns into politics and I can’t accept it.

As most Germans supported their Nazi government, many enthusiastically, it's doubtful that this decline would have been reflected on polls (if any could have been taken) on the "decline of morality."
The thing to recognize about surveys is that people *always answer a different question from that which is being asked.* For instance, "do you think... moral values in this country as a whole [are] getting better or getting worse?" is probably read as "Do you approve of the government?"

The Simpsons seemed to predict the future a bunch. One bit they did that hasn't seemed to happen enough was when Krusty actually suffered for commiting tax fraud and it was done quickly.
