So, about last night's debate...
If you're the shallow sort of non-thinker who's impressed by sturm und drang, convicted felon Trump won. But if you paid attention to who actually had an understanding of the issues and a plan to deal with them, President Biden walked away with it, stutter or not.

That's my impression also. Spreading lies enthusiastically does not make you a good devater.
@AskNick Clearly the abilities which make you a good leader are entirely different from those which make you a good campaigner. Which is exactly what made it a bad idea for Biden to have turned it over to Harris, a poor campaigner, at the outset.
Biden, smart, decent, old, and tired, staffs his administration with excellent people. Trump, stupid, indecent, old, and forceful, would staff his with fascists even much worse than 45.
