I knew when I got my hair cut short before a business trip, and strangers kept calling me sir.
(Before that, I knew I was gender non-conforming but couldn't put my finger on it. )

@tyghebright I had already transitioned and faced a lot of negativity from friends and family. Ran some errands with my kids and a male friend where it was assumed we were husband and wife. He ran with it. It was definitely euphoric

I think of this along these lines when ignorant people fear transwomen in their bathrooms. They don’t realize or care how much they want to simply just pass, and NOT be seen as anything but a woman, let alone attack anyone they come across. @Graci @tyghebright
