@Armchaircouch That you have accepted and thus are now complicit in the stupid (unless you're doing something to fix it while you laugh).
@Armchaircouch Hate to say it, but if you're getting off on it, and not fixing it, you are supporting it.
ps “getting off on” is a very dramatic way to paraphrase what I actually said and would be actually quite incorrect. I think if I was actually getting off on the stupid I would need medical attention. @AskTheDevil
@Armchaircouch If you are laughing at it, that's what I mean. I don't mean that you are having a sexual orgasm.
Dirty minds, people.
Look. It can _also_ mean you're trying to find relief in an intolerable situation, or even that you've cracked up a little or seen the absurdity in everything.
But if you're being amused instead of fixing it, you're supporting it, _too_, whatever else is going on.
Ah, gotcha. There in lies our difference. I have been much darker since infancy and I laugh at things that are not funny too many people. (unless there’s injury involved, I do not find that funny).
To clarify, though, I don’t use stupidity for amusement, when it’s now crosses my path, unfortunately, it has become amusing. Maybe it’s for self preservation of my mind I don’t know… @AskTheDevil
@Armchaircouch @AskTheDevil I’ll laugh at the darkest shit. I make no apologies for that myself. I’m not talking pointing and laughing. That’s cruel.
@Armchaircouch I just feel like more and more, people are retreating into pretending that _monstrous_ behavior is "funny" instead of doing something about it.
