I will start!
One of my favorite aspects of Coso is how often times chatting back-and-forth on threads mimics having hang out time with friends in person, like weโre all at someoneโs kitchen table or hangin around the fire pit.
The comfortable banter, the spontaneous hilarity, the collective fun or collective sadness when the moment calls for it.
@Armchaircouch The first thing that came to my mind is that I feel less lonely here.๐
ty! same. @Tacitus_Kilgore
@Armchaircouch I appreciate reading peoples life experiences that are different from mine, equally as valuable, and offer a different interaction with environment, work, society, and family than Iโm used to considering
I love the welcoming, caring, and helpful community of CoSo.
New folks get swarmed with welcomes and user guides.
Folks who are hurting usually get an ear and a shoulder.
Those who open up and share something personal do not get mocked or criticized.
I also love how when the helpers notice each other helping someone they often toss a โญ on one of their posts to say "I see what you're doing. Well done friend".
Also, community projects just like *this*!
Well done Friend! :)
@Armchaircouch There are many times that Coso has uplifted me, comforted me, helped ground me. It also has widened my view of the world, opened topics l'd never encountered, showed me viewpoints l'd not considered.
A specific instance, late one evening l was in a rather stressed and anxious state. I asked for suggestions of music without lyrics. The number and variety of suggestions was a balm for me at a rather fraught time. The engagement and community are superb!
that is really really great, thank you for not only sharing but Iโm also so glad people came through and were able to help you in that moment. โฅ๏ธโฅ๏ธโฅ๏ธ @KarenSohne

Oh a gold mine, yes thank you, @kel !!
@Armchaircouch
As an addict/alcoholic in recovery I have always been lifted up and spoken to with love and respect for my journey. I love it here. #CosoRecovery
@Armchaircouch everyone can take part in the silliness and fun, whether it be a #pizzawar, #floodthefirehose or enjoying an event together (e.g. sports all etc.)
totally! @Loffreni
I will be blacking out our @ handles from any screenshots.
