and hey here's an idea maybe don't put your BRAND NAME in giant letters across the main focal point of the otherwise so-so mildly cute product. wtf

imagine if our hottest cars had their names just SPLASHED across the hoods. At least car makers know to put that ish on the back!

@Armchaircouch Same goes for clothes & designer names. Small, subtle or not at all

@gemswinc @Armchaircouch I would settle for labels inside that don't say made in Bangladesh.

@Armchaircouch @gemswinc Good luck, I just ordered some Wrangler shirts from the official Wrangler site.
Labels inside said made in Bangladesh and size was as inconsistent as constipation. They sagged worse than great grandma's boobs.

so far, no luck I did find a brand where they are put together in the US but so many parts are now made overseas I guess itโ€™s going to be either very difficult or nearly impossible to find one 100% made in the USA. @Wolfman @gemswinc

@Armchaircouch @gemswinc I think designer doesn't mean what it used to. Neither does made in America.

ditto! Why are we paying them to wear their clothing they should be paying us to advertise for them lol! @gemswinc

@Armchaircouch An autistic girl I knew had beautiful art. Her signature took up 1/3 the painting space.๐Ÿ’๐Ÿผ

@Armchaircouch very situational๐Ÿคฃ in this scenario for me but I get what you mean. I buy things that I like or to support. Any art could be irresistible. I wouldnโ€™t support the person monetarily in this instance and not a good idea to further even an acquaintance but I get it could happen. Maybe in a different scenario but well.. here is to buying local art. I have a painting for sale btw๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

@Armchaircouch Before you go awarding car manufacturers the altruism trophy, it's on the back so other people read it.

@Armchaircouch The problem IMO with that toaster is it's a couple of consonants away from disgusting.

@Armchaircouch

Get a really nice French Press and matching grinder

You can pour in your fresh ground beans and boiling water, then press out your single cup of coffee. I have a two cup version of that. My big 12 cup is stored for just special occasions, now.

I currently use a French press but I need a programmable one so that when I wake up in the morning it goes to work without me having to put in the effort

I'm not an early morning person and I need all the help I can get. ... it's the little things.. :) @AndersonArtwork

@Armchaircouch I have a K-cup maker that's not a Kurig, looks fine and has a removable basket that let's me use my own coffee and can make coffee at my desired strength which for me is can peel the paint off a Sherman Tank and will dissolve a spoon. Lol

lol! I have had to take it easy ever since the doctor's orders My coffee would not peel the paint off of anything at this point but I'm glad I can still drink it, gently.. @Wolfman

@Armchaircouch A drip coffee maker that only makes one cup will typically make a crappy cup of coffee, because the hot water doesn't have enough time to seep through the grounds.

Maybe one of those little 4-cup ones, like they have in hotel rooms?

yes :) a 4-cup is what I have my searches set for.

and I like this point you've made, ty! @AskTheDevil
