I want to do more, but she's really trying to be brave. If we talk about things the tears just run silently down her face, but I also don't want her bottling things up. She's already started blaming herself, thinking that she's obviously not good enough ๐ข All I can do is be there for her, I suppose.

@Avalea Awwwww if only! She's got next to no real family here (mine are all thousands of miles away and adore her, but my wife's side just aren't that close and she doesn't have many friends). She could use an Auntie Avalea, especially right now!! โค๏ธ
@BillyBones The biggest thing I can say is (and sheโll have to reach deep & be strongโฆ which she TOTALLY can) that she walk w/grace & class. Let that be a motto she repeats to herself. Grace & class. Sheโll have to fake it hard not to get emotional, but she need not let that boy see her cry anymore. Even if she has to squeeze her nails into her fist to distract. Each day that passes will be one day closer to her best days. Living well impacts WAY harder. She wonโt see it now, but she can do it!

My daughter is 16 now and having a horrible Xmas (her first ever boyfriend just dumped her yesterday so we were up until 4am with her crying her eyes out). But coincidentally this pic popped up in my memories this morning. Something she made 6 years ago today
