Internet goes down over the weekend. I talk with tech support. They acknowledge they can't see the equipment at my end. Tech visit scheduled for today.
This morning, things are "mysteriously" working again and they want to cancel the visit. Aw HELL no. Things do not just start working again for no reason.
I work IT for a living. Don't try to snow me. Something is up, and I would like a reasonable answer.
People ask "how are you dealing with not having internet?"

The first outage was shortly after the initial install. The box at the edge of my property wasn't sealed properly and ants got into it. The outage was the ants blocking the junction.
The second one was a neighbor who managed to bring down the line because they weren't being responsible with how they were trimming trees.
We'll see what caused this one.
I am not counting system checks and routine maintenance where the outage was less than an hour.
My home internet went out around 7PM last night. Worked with tier 1 tech and confirmed it's outside my house. But they still need to send someone to check everything from the box outside of my house back.
This is only the 3rd time since 2015 that my service has been down due to anything other than power. Stable service? Yup. I'm disappointed that it's down now, but not mad.
