Today is a very good day for me to keep my head down and not mess with things. Other people are having a very hard time with their work and are actively NOT engaging me to help, despite my having skills that would be useful here. I've stopped "volunteering" when it's not welcomed. Yes, this is office politics, and I won't play that game.

Thanks, but it's not my worry. I could help, if it was wanted and requested. But it's not, so I won't. Enjoying the learning process though. It's not really that awful on my end. So I can enjoy my coffee, @GaryPoole on the radio, and the fact that it's Friday.
