Google’s own lawyer says the company has paid 9 billion rubles ($127.8 million) in legal penalties to the Russian state (just since December!) for blocking the right-wing TV network Tsargrad on YouTube.
And I am livid. How am I supposed to protest this?

@DocLaing it’s cool in some ways of course, but it also really sucks that the world is so interconnected and globalized these days bc it makes conscientious objection so very difficult. Sometimes I feel like every single thing I do, just existing, fosters the relentlessly exploitive deeds of empire… and in fact it’s largely true… it makes me want to go berserk.😣 Just gotta remember to try to do any little thing I can think of to help counterbalance the stain humanity is leaving, lol.
