Walter Trout is a blues guitarist. His new album is pretty solid rock/blues - the kind of music you think of when I say "blues guitarist".
And then there's this song, which is wildly different from the rest of the album and so of course draws me to it.

Being sick has given me nothing BUT time, and how cow have I found too much new music this week.
But I'm going to give you first some music that I'm NOT adding to the Radio Station. Some jazz. The real thing, not what passes for it these days.
This album is the RAD Jazz Orchestra, led by Ryan Deweese, who is the son of a friend of mine from college.
The album is on all platforms, but I'm trying to raise their Spotify Profile.

One of the great unrecognized bands of the 1990's was Jawbox. I absolutely loved that band. I use their song "Savory" as my ringtone for important calls - that is not a song you can ignore.
Their lead singer/guitarist J. Robbins has a new solo album out, which I'm now giving a 2nd listen to today. This is fantastic stuff.
And at last here iit is, Radio Free California Episode 2407! What looked at first like would be a light week and we get TONS of new music! Francis of Delirium, Mary Timony, Zara Larsson, Dhani Harrison, Brendon James, Superchunk, Chris Ballew, Benjamin Russell, The Veronicas and much more!
