Chart Position!

It's arbitrary and won't last, but I'll still take it.

Have a little lyric video for the single I'm releasing next week.

Single comes out next week at all the usual places.

I haven't laughed so hard listening to music in ages. "Middle Age Love" by Riki Lindhome.

So very very very much not safe for work. Seriously. Even if you're on headphones your laughter might start a personnel inquiry.

No video. Yet.

As promised, here is a link to the blog version of Radio Free California Episodes 23433 & 2434. This link also includes notes about the radio station for this week, and a little extra. Enjoy!

As per usual my blog version will be up later, although it won't be much different from this. Too tired for my usual cheap shots.

Believe it or not, there will be a Radio Free California today, and it will be HUGE (side effrect of taking a week off)

Working my way through it now. I'm guessing about 80 songs. A lot of stuff came out these past 2 weeks.

So, unbeknownst to me when I booked this vacation, the Blue Note Hawaii is in our hotel. On our first full day there I asked the young man at the desk of the hotel who was playing that night and he had never heard of them.

Well I bloody well had. Just dumb luck.

I've been on an early Chuck Mangione kick as of late and his great quartet from before he got all famous is just astounding.

Oh man, the new and final album by X is good. Reeeeaaal good. I was in Los Angeles for the first few albums. They were always amazing.

How is it that I'm only now discovering Nick Drake? Holy carp this stuff is amazing!

The last track on this week's Radio Free California is this amazing track by HUMANIST with Dave Gahan of Depeche Mode on vocals. By far the best song on the album.
