@Animeraider ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE BACKSTORY! I had friends living in Broward at the time when the 2 Live Crew controversy was stirring up (my dad lives there now in Hallandale Beach just south of Hollywood but he doesn't remember the whole thing as rap was anathema to him). They said the sherrif wasn't a bad guy but he was a product of the times. Anyway,when did you write "Defending Luther"? The whole controversy was largely finished by 1992 when SCOTUS rejected Broward's appeal.

I wrote all of these songs in 1990. Because of the histrionics involving my original record deal I was stuck promoting only music I had previously released for a time. The story is the result.
