@Tarnagh Jack’s story is the story of so many people in this country, shot through the heart for doing their job. I found a critical problem once and reported it from the field. My pride from detecting and diagnosing said problem was immediately blunted by people in high management that were pissed off that I found it.
Of course. They would have to spend the money to fix the problem.
Or do a low-cost ineffectual "fix."
Or ignore it.
I'd bet on them ignoring it. ☹️
As is tradition, the fine for not fixing a problem - or the eventual lawsuit from not fixing the problem - is still cheaper than fixing the problem.
Which makes not fixing the problem more cost-effective for any company.
@Tarnagh They fixed it, there are details about the interim time that lapsed until said fix that I won’t discuss but the point was that was precisely my job.
