The news about all the crap we're using and abusing and recycling programs are refusing is more depressing every day.

I heard about this outfit this morning. They're finding ways to recycle the un-recyclable - even cigarette butts and dirty diapers!

When you see the cost for the all-item recycling boxes, I have to give props to Taco Bell for accepting EVERYRONE'S empty condiment packets.

Yeah. It turns out transporting crap to be recycled costs more than tossing it into a landfill and buying new.

BUT.... the US pays hundreds of billions of dollars in subsidies to fossil fuel companies. Divert a chunk of that to recycling and bring it to scale and we might have something.
