Other worm farmers avoid fruit flies by doing things like freezing produce peels before adding to the compost pile. I hope for them, my sundews look hungry.

I didn't have fruit flies, I had March flies. Thousands of them. I had to use a vacuum to suck them off the walls and ceilings.

They're well named. They definitely consider March a festive occasion.

No more worm composting indoors for me.
