COPA, Yenko, Baldwin-Motion...
There were more than a few 1st gen Camaros that were not to be sneered at.
@northernbassist Despite being a Chevelle guy from the start, I've never been a particular brand or model fan.
Does it go like hell? Can it eat curbs and speed bumps and keep running? That'll do...
@Render
I like things that do what they're designed to do well, and look good doing it.
In my imaginary driveway, though, is a 71 Boss 351...
My first car was a 1970 Mustang fastback with a 351C / 4bbl. Loved that car so much.
@mikeflstfi dang...i assume a flying carpet was next?
I went from that to my first new car, a 1988 Mustang GT 5.0, so yeah, pretty much!
Here’s an admittedly crappy pic of it. Wish I could find more.
@mikeflstfi root beer, or purple?
Bronze / Root beer with black hood scoop, air dam, louvers, and rear spoiler
I’m a V8 kinda guy. I just sold this about a year and a half ago: 2003 BMW M5 (E39). Owned it for about 15 years. Holy sh*t, was it fast!
@mikeflstfi
I sure have enjoyed my 2003 Z4...but i'm afraid i'm gonna have to sell it before i move.
too bad there aren't any other cars anywhere in the world to think about....😎

I never had any muscle cars. I loved my VW Rabbit, and even though it was a piece of shit as far as reliability, I learned a lot about car repair.
Plus there's the fun of telling people, "I got some bad news today. The Rabbit died."
I spent countless weekends underneath that first Mustang. It’s how I learned how make car go. 😀
@AlphaCentauri Dad left me his 1980 4-door Rabbit in 1989. It had a turbo bigger than the engine on it. Went like hell. Not so great on curbs and speed bumps though, it liked to get airborne and it bounced on landings.
Engine blew up chasing a Porsche 928 up Rt 95 one day.
@Render @northernbassist @mikeflstfi
I take it your dad loved his Rabbit, too.
The one I bought used was 5 years old and had had the engine rebuilt already.

pfftt...Camaro...😉
