Love is letting your spouse have the remote and then not complaining as they scroll and stop on every stupid show for 4 minutes at a time.. 🙄

@ChippySuave oh my, did you sneak into my house? 😂

I am not a big TV person. Like to watch the news, like some programs on PBS. But I really prefer reading.

DH thus has the remote. He’ll watch something for a few minutes, decide it’s no good, flip channels, repeat.

I sit next to him and read.

Perhaps this is one reason I don’t watch, though, that flipping about would make me crazy if I were watching... 🤔

@Myrth I have my book with me as well. Luckily, I'm not jinxing any of his teams tonight by having the light on.🙄😜😂

The secret of my parents' happy marriage was two remote controls.

I'm not much of a TV person. But it must be some testosterone thing. I've heard of trans men who found themselves doing it after they transitioned.

Yeah, I'm not much of a tv person either, and unless I have something specific to watch, he does his thing. If he's not watching his violent stuff (can't deal with that right now) I sometimes join him and read, or web surf or whatever. (He's working his way through the Vikings series right now, so he's the lone ruler of the TV room til he's done.)

We didn't have remote control when I was growing up. My brother would sit right in front of the TV with his hand on the dial, turning from station to station every few minutes.
