This is a rural area, a couple medium small cities with a lot of small to tiny towns separated by miles of corn and soybean fields. Their deliveries went all over these cities, towns and villages. They wouldn’t deliver if the weather was bad, like the last couple days they didn’t even open due to the blizzard like conditions. The beauty of their family business was that they cared more about each other than they did profits. Never saw anything like it before.

Enjoy the paczkis! That’s from last year when I helped out at the bakery in town. Used to help them during the holidays and the night before Fat Tuesday. They have since sold the bakery and are retiring. They worked very hard, long, hours six days a week. They’ve earned retirement.
