Compassion shouldn't be controversial, caring for people who are different from you shouldn't be controversial, expressing support for equality between people shouldn't be controversial.
Telling people that universal expressions of love are "controversial" *should* be controversial.

The politicians who’ve repeatedly introduced anti-trans bills under the guise of “protecting children” are routinely going after adults now.
I met my mom 6yrs ago, after reaching out thru FB.
My folks divorced when I was 4yrs old, a year after these pics were taken. The pic on the left is mine. My mom emailed the other.
There's something deeply profound about seeing these pics, taken the same day but separated by time & space. It was confirmation of a connection. Looking at them side-by-side makes my heart swell.
I was a fashionable 3yr old. Navy blue Nehru jacket, shorts, gold chain. It was the 60s, man. I was very groovy! 😄

Do you patronize businesses that are not owned or operated by White males?
