Message for my fellow Twitter refugees

When we came here from birdland, the good people of CoSo took us in & were kind & welcoming and smart and funny and easy to be with.

And we all can enjoy that good company for a long time for absolutely free & nobody will harass us for money, judge us for not being able to afford a donation

But we added a huge load to a site that was not expecting so many of us. Servers had to be added, etc. We need to chip in if we can. And if we can't? That's okay, too

CoSo can appear a bit overwhelming - partly it's not what you're used to and partly because there's such a huge influx of new members.

The best thing you can do right now is to lose the egg avi, put in a background image, write a short bio and post an #introduction (preferably with the hashtag).

99% of us are more likely to interact with (& accept friend requests from) a person rather than a blank profile 👍

Some quick tips on the basics:

To reply to a post, click that left-facing arrow.
The double arrows in a square will boost the post. (Keeping all conversation about it in the original thread.)
The star is "favorite" but most folks use it as a "like".

To replace your cracked egg, click on Edit profile, upload an image for your avatar, and scroll down to click save.

Sometimes photos post sideways. Easy fix: Make any small edit and then upload the picture.
