Been thinking about getting a tattoo (midlife crisis, remember?) but it has to be something meaningful to me and something I know I wouldn't regret later.

Think I've found the perfect thing - the blues scale, on my left inner forearm. Practical and useful!

The connection between my phone and charging lead has been loose for ages. Turned the issue was lint - used a needle to dig out fluff from the socket and now it clicks in place again just fine.

Finally got round to booking some guitar lessons. Can sorta play a bit, but self-taught and I'm sure I've picked up lots of bad habits etc. Besides, I'm shit with scales.

Also signed up to a gym yesterday. As midlife crises go, I think this is all fairly tame so far.

Started with (I think) 341 followers. Now down to just over 100. Still haven't finished, but need a break

Looking back, that was bordering on illiterate, but I'm getting the warm fuzzies seeing people looking out.

I mean, the warm fuzzies could be down to an afternoon of tequila and an evening of... well, tbh, lots of alcohol, only half of which I can remember.

But, let's face it, the alcohol isn't the important part, is it? That'll be the human connections thing.

Whole conversation stayed with "hey, my eyesight is rubbish, can you see what that thing on the horizon is?"

It's kind've sad that an innocent question like that can lead to learning about so much about, but also cool in that just chatting to people from other places can lead to wider awareness

I don't know enough to say what's going on atm, but there's definitely A Thing happening there that's worth paying attention to.
