Reason JD Vance is still wanging on about "cat ladies" is because he thinks women should be staying at home, giving birth to and raising children, instead of taking care of pets.

Also because he has fuck all to offer other than misogyny.

"Global cybersecurity expert" just threatened to doxx me to the far right over on the bird site. Then it seems his skills ran out after requesting a password change on my Soundcloud.. 🀭

Bastard UK 'patriots'.

I can't even take the piss out of my American friends about how batshit their politics are now πŸ˜•

Someone keeps sending me replies
, deleting them and then sending me another, deleting that etc

Take your time. I'm not in a rush to be anywhere πŸ™‚

Twitter is so bad rn that I'm just quoting myself arguing with racists now, with the caveat that if I get banned then people can find me on counter.social

Governments don't represent all the people of their country.

Always a good thing to keep in mind.

Sometimes, our media reminds us it's good to realise that governments don't represent all the people in a country. Sometimes they don't.

Tank Mechanic Simulator is 75% off on Steam right now.

If it's realistic there'll be a mode where you play as a Russian General, fail to maintain your tanks but pocket all the maintenance money, then get thrown out of a window when you attempt to invade a neighbouring country and all your tanks break down and get captured.

All the Southport stuff has brought an insufferable amount of racist dumbfucks out of the woodwork on the bird site.

Controversial take (in England) :

There is nothing wrong with a 3.5% beer. It's a pretty much perfect level of alcohol content to keep you at a stable level of intoxication for the rest of the night.

When I was younger, I'd mostly drink beer straight from the can or bottle.

Then I found out that most, if not all, beer is actually made to be poured into a glass - pour it, let the froth subside, top it up until the glass is full. Gamechanger. Gets rid of that gassy bloaty feeling you get after a few.

Couple of useful free programs I've found recently.

PatchMyPC updates your installed programs (the ones recognised by the program) to the latest versions: patchmypc.com/home-updater

Snappy Driver does a similar thing, but for drivers: sdi-tool.org/

Both will download and install updates to programs/drivers automatically (though with options on what you want installed)

Sorry, Windows only, afaik

Seems there's some scammy fundraising going on, supposedly for Harris. Thread about it here..

In the grand scheme of things, each of our lives is an incredibly brief thing. What we make of our lives will, in time, be forgotten. That's just inevitable.

But every single one of us, every action we take, will have an impact on others and help shape the future.

We will all eventually be forgotten, but the effects of our lives, our words, our actions, those still shape history.

"we all want to be remembered ", is a thing I've heard lots of times.

I'm actually okay with being forgotten. I mean I'd like it if I improved someone's life but actually having them remember me for it? Not really a thing I consider... Is that weird?

(posted this over on The Bad Site, it'll be interesting to see if there's a difference in responses, or what they might be)

Noticed a bit of interest on what I said about being involved in education in schools - I don't suppose anyone knows of a group on here with an interest in informal education? Let me know if you're interested or know of people who are!

Ooh, that's cool. I'm one of those Firefox using assholes. Also used to be a web designer. So I know it's a f*cker to design for, especially with all the variations inherent in such a customisable browser.

But I've just noticed that the "CURRENT OVERALL COSO NETWORK SENTIMENT" thing is now working, and showing, correctly, where it hadn't before.

Small thing, but much appreciated, @th3j35t3r .
