Second one that stands out to me is Muse - Plug In Baby. First time I heard this, they are playing a festival that was being shown live on TV. Can't remember what one, but it made enough of an impact that I got up the old 56k modem later that night (it was a while back!) and looked them up..

Some weeks ago, I learned- somewhat belatedly- that Bucky Baxter had died, back in 2020. Should've been an omen as to how shitty the coming years would be, tbh. Anyway, I've still not been able to find good enough words to describe how his guitar-playing influenced me, so I figure I'll let his playing do the talking instead. Used to do a lot of #photography up until a few years ago. Just realised earlier today that my camera's memory card may well have stuff on it that I don't even remember taking. I've avoided hunting it down immediately because I'm quite enjoying the thought of forgotten treasures and don't want to entertain the thought that there may be nothing on it, or it's all rubbish..
