I love cover versions of songs. It's really interesting to hear other people's interpretations of stuff. I do a bit of it myself (may post something one of these days), and I usually start by checking out what other people have done.

This is one of my favourite versions of Sympathy For The Devil. The recording itself isn't brilliant but the energy and talent shines through youtube.com/watch?v=C16z-DBJvP

Johnny Cage and the Voodoo Groove were a band I first heard on a BBC tv show, called (I think) Britain's Best Band. Loved them on there, but they sadly don't seem to be active now. One of the standouts on TV was a cover they did of Toma Waits - Jockey Full of Bourbon. Here's a bit of it, with a snippet of Sweet Dreams thrown in for good measure

Okay, last one for now, I think. You might well have heard of this already. It's one where I love the cover but I love the original just as much - they've both got a similar vibe but I appreciate the fairly subtle differences in both
