Having a digital clearout and came across this photo I took decades ago. Bet you can't guess what it is!

@66ALW99 Votive candle from underneath?
@sfleetucker No, but surprisingly close! π
@66ALW99 It's a flame through some sort of liquid, oil or maybe even a light colored or clear carbonated liquid. It could be shot down through a beer bottle suspended over a candle or flame, I suppose...
@sfleetucker First bit's right π

@66ALW99 Almost looks like a lightbulb in a lamp, except for the drops of water(?).
@poemblaze It does - but hint: the drops of water are actually drops of something IN water
@66ALW99 Hmmm. Now I'm thinking more lava lamp.
@poemblaze Still warm but not quite there!
@66ALW99 carbonated drink lit from the bottom. Probably much further off.
@poemblaze Still close-ish π I'll give the answer in a sec, 'cos I need to head off and do some offline stuff
@66ALW99
Pan for flan before the custard goes in.
@Helical_Code You must have some really cool-looking kitchen equipment! π
@66ALW99 almost empty glass of beer
@imafoal No, but I can see why you guessed that - and now you've got me wanting a cold beer π
@66ALW99 π»
@imafoal Nope, but sort've similar in some ways!
@66ALW99 A glass with some liquid in it?
Okay, it's an oil burner taken from above - it had a shallow glass bowl where you put the water and oil, and you can see the tealight underneath. Some good and close guesses there!
