A good friend of mine, a network engineer, was laid off yesterday along with several other people. It was a shock to them, as well as to the company they're contracted to. I asked if there was anything I could do besides send good thoughts. Her reply:
"I need to chop my resume up to make it shorter and more concise. What I'd like to find is a resume expert that is familiar with the type of work I do to help coach me through redoing my resume." If anyone here does that, pl let me know. Thanks.
