Politics is existentially important for women. Laws, enforcement, programs & policy uphold women’s safety, equality & freedom. Progress can be undone in a generation - see Afghanistan and Iran. It’s unfolding now in the US with the push to ban reproductive rights & Project 2025 policy. Birth control, voting rights & employment opportunities are all on the ballot. Women of my generation & younger have taken our rights & freedoms for granted. We should not, it’s our turn to fight to uphold them.
