The new neighbors—after the tree massacre yesterday—are having a gigantic white privacy fence installed around their yard perimeter.

The only such fence in the neighborhood.

It’s so ugly and it’s my daily view, now 😞

Context matters so much though—if they had gotten a wood fence I wouldn’t say anything—bc it would blend

But this is a great white beacon of plastic unlike anything anywhere near here

Sorry to here that! That's seriously no joke of an upset. Have they put it up yet? Any chance you can talk to them and maybe offer to pay for half if they go with wood?

Chances are they don't care and are going with the cheaper option. Although I guess it's also the longer lasting option.

If nothing else you can grow ivy, Morning Glories or other such flowers on it? Although I'm sure that's no consolation.
