#CoSoSec Has all chimed in before: don't trust URL shorteners.
Don't use them, and never click on a shortened URL.
Here's why: https://www.hackread.com/mastermana-botnet-evades-detection-url-shorteners/

It redirects everyone here, right?

The world needs a URL shortener that doesn't permit links to dangerous URLs. People are going to use some service or another. There are too many instances where you need them.
(BTW, have you contacted the registrar in Eritrea to register jest.er yet?
@th3j35t3r - so uhh... If you did this... 301s only, no updating after creation, have CoSo auto-resolve redirects, and include original url in some sort of metadata field on CoSo... Ef it, it's too early in the morning to design a "safe" url shortener.

Soooo... here was me thinking I'd create a COSO URL shortener.... for real. 😂 😜
