Canada doesn't exist.
@Jeast - You're not a Flat America psycho are you? Thinking nothing can be north of the US?
@Jeast - well, duh... its not like anybody's ever seen that one.
@Jeast - I've seen people and talked to them from both Canada and Finland. Are you saying that they are just actors?
Yes.
@Jeast - ok, then I guess I'll have to block @jordicusmaximus and @daniel
TBH I can believe that.
@0x56 I’m so very pissed @ them. When I called them the agent DIDNT EVEN KNOW ABOUT THE BREACH & HAD TO PUT ME ON HOLD TO READ THE NEWS. 🤯🤬
@Evvie - FFS. That should have gone out in a morning briefing at the start of their shift.
@0x56 they should have also taken the time to alert their customers. I found out otw home from hospital via CNN. UNACCEPTABLE.
Capital One was the first credit card I got, right out of college and I peed my pants when I read about the breach. Read this morning that the breach goes back to applications way back to 2005, So breathed a personal sigh of relief. Then I thought, why did I have to research whether or not I was at risk? Why didn’t I get an email from Capital One? Grrrr .
@0x56 this is the CEO’s direct contact info. I think we should flood his email til that’s all there is in it. Maybe he’ll learn.
@Evvie - I cannot endorse this. I can, however endorse closing your account with them ASAP.
@0x56 I mean it’s his work info not his home info - id never post that...flooding his work email so he has to directly address this though, I see nothing wrong with that.
I’ve considered closing the account but doing that harms your credit as well so for customers, it’s a lose lose.
@Evvie - I'm not sure if it really hurts your credit score that much... especially if you have other cards as a backup.
@0x56 it would affect mine bc I’m still trying to dig out from 7 years of being jerked around by work Comp & so many med bills not to mention that my data has been breached literally dozens of times by companies with lax security. I’ve had enough & am ready to FIGHT these people at this point.
@Evvie - and I doubt he checks his work email... I'm sure he has an assistant or 5 that do it for him.
@0x56 right but the point is that if they are so busy dealing w/pissed off customers to deal with their daily tasks, it’ll be addressed. At any rate, I’m calling more senators after I chill out a bit. I’m heated over this.
^^ my #'s were from memory and wrong... here are the real ones:
