What brought this up?
The number of transgender and drag queens in the performance offended many online, with Elon Musk posting on X that the performance “was extremely disrespectful to Christians.” Musk is a self-described “cultural Christian.” (But not really — he only said that a day ago — he is more a “greed is good” than a “feed the hungry”)

@feloneouscat I guess a cultural Christian is someone who doesn't study the Bible or theology, doesn't believe in Jesus as savior, may not believe in God. But sees the very worst extremist depravity of the hypocritical self professed Christians, and says hey, I wanna be in your tribe!
@feloneouscat Christian Nationalist is to Christian as Islamist is to Muslim. And Evangelical now equates closely to Al Qaeda or Satanist
I knew a few evangelicals who were genuine believers, sincere, thoughtful. I didn't agree with them but neither of us demanded agreement. How sad for ones like them that evangelical has come to mean the opposite of all their Christian beliefs.
