We’re fostering a bunny. Just picked him up.

His name is Rabbit De Niro

Bobby’s been pretty active, sniffing everything and exploring his pen, so at least he’s not hiding in his tunnel.

Talking with other bunny fosterers in a group chat and sharing pics and video, he is probably a year old at most. He let us stroke his head and ears today. Started chewing the mat so I put down cardboard.

Bunny is very comfortable around us now, letting us pet him in his pen. He had a big nap all stretched out on his side which apparently is a sign of feeling safe and comfy.

Bobby’s out of his pen and chills with me watching a movie. He’s been squeaking and doing binkys (leaps) so I think he’s a happy bunny.

Ok, well being a boy bunny, he decided to start humping my leg furiously this evening. Bit my knee as well.

Guess who’s getting the snip in a couple of weeks.

Rabbit De Niro is off to get the snip this morning. Had to pack him a lunch box which was kinda funny. 🐰

Bunny is back. He was a little scared and been skittish, but he’s eating and drinking. He’s been having a go at his stitches, but there’s not much we can do about it. They don’t make cones for rabbits. I’ve seen some soft versions but they’re all from Temu, so kinda pointless in even trying to get one.

@vozoto
Can ya make him like a pig in a blanket? depending on how big he is, use a sock with the toes cut out or the sleeve of a sweat shirt or something similar. Just a thought. 🐰

@TAG04 he’s too big for that. We tried putting a dolls skirt over his head and that was impossible. I think he’s too stressed out right now.
