Every single time I see a cardinal on my lanai, I am seized by the impulse to say, "Cardinal Fang!" "and Cardinal Richilieu" if there are 2. I often give in to that impulse and blurt it out for my own amusement. And then I giggle. (This is not my photo, it's from the Internet.) #montypython

Right? Some of that has become part of our family repertoire. Last year I found an oversized chair (with hassock - showing my age here) on freecycle. When I set it up in my small sitting area, my grandkids were quick to come down to check it out. It's a '60s version so it's over stuffed and oversized. And I said to them they should take a seat in the comfy chair. Right on cue, DD shrieked, NOT THE COMFY CHAIR!“
