La Cremonese, a nylon strung arch top, by Sankey Guitars. the whole top can vibrate unimpeded—great design

Interesting you would say that, since the maker was apparently inspired by the design of a viola de gamba.
Me too. I imagine a single x-brace, with a bridge plate for support, but none of the normal fan braces the go cross grain, and restrict vibration.
@MrGoat, if you’re interested, I have a guitar accessory called the Pickaso, designed as a bow for acoustic guitars. First impressions were novel, but meh…if you wanna try it, I’ll send it to you. N/C.
@northernbassist @voltronic I owns a bass guitar so it would probably not get used. =D I appreciate the offer!
@MrGoat @northernbassist
You could always get an E-Bow. They're cool for Spacey effects if nothing else.
@MrGoat @northernbassist
Or if you like the bowed acoustic sound, learn to play the hurdy-gurdy! 😅
@voltronic I would just get a regular bow for a violin or whatever and use it on my bass if I was to do such a thing lol =D <3 @northernbassist
e-bow is a much better choice for your bass, man…if nothing else, no matter if you play flats or rounds, you will NEVER get the resin off your strings. don’t do it.
@northernbassist Bass rosin is stickier
Bass rosin is usually stickier than rosin for other instruments, like the violin, viola, and cello. This is because the bass has large bridge cables that need to be moved afaik =)
But yeah I probably wouldn't . @voltronic
@voltronic it reallyremindedme of a violin!! just bigger @northernbassist

I wish there was more info about it on his website because I'm very curious about the internal construction.
