@Zevon @NoahPaulLeGies
You completely misunderstood what I was saying yesterday, but we have the same situation happening here.
They are playing their instruments, but we are not hearing that. We are hearing a recording.
I'm cool with that kind of set-up at this convention @voltronic @NoahPaulLeGies
@Zevon
I mean this is what you see at every Super Bowl performance as well. You have Beyoncé out there with the marching band, they are playing but you're hearing a recording.
@Zevon The people there can hear it live. They could hear it live last night. Saying they weren't playing is saying they're cheating and lying. @voltronic
@NoahPaulLeGies
You're putting words in my mouth. Go back and read what I wrote.
@NoahPaulLeGies @Zevon
The people close to the stage may have been hearing what those drummers were actually playing. Everybody else in the hall was hearing a recording just like the rest of us at home.
@voltronic So what's so bad about that? @Zevon
@voltronic "I despise instrument miming. " Miming, aka pretending, not actually playing. @Zevon
@NoahPaulLeGies
Actually, you're right. I shouldn't have used that word, because that's not the frustration I was actually trying to convey. I was pissed that we have these great musicians here who *are* actually playing their instruments, yet they don't have them mic'd up and are giving us a pre-recorded version instead.
@Zevon @NoahPaulLeGies
For instance right now you're hearing bass drums while nobody is playing them.
