I mean there are certainly going to be people claiming false flag except there was blood so I really don't think so.
The crowd reaction could be down to the fact that suppressed 22 LR (as ID'd by Render) doesn't sound at all like what most people think of when they think gunshots. My experience shooting unsuppressed 22 is that the pitch is much higher than you might expect.

I’ve been in bleachers on 2 occasions when shots were fired and people often react in different ways, but within seconds you hit the floor…and that fist pump🤔

He got hit in the ear, as confirmed by the photos of his bloody ear. He was raising his hand to touch his ear not pumping his fist.
