@voltronic We have about 500 albums and a turntable. I don't listen to them because I am too lazy to get the album, wipe the album, play the album, flip the album, put album away. Scratches are no big deal - a well placed dime or nickle solves that issue.
We keep them for the memories, the album art, the songs not available anywhere.
Hell, I have an ipod classic that is almost 20 years old and still works

The video addresses the coin on the head shell trick. The trade-off there is that you wear out your album faster.

@voltronic use the lightest coin to avoid the skip. Problem is people would go for a too heavy coin from the get go. I have albums from the 1950s
