@voltronic John Cleese. I still enjoy his work, but have to separate it from the man somewhat. His repeated defense of The British Empire, resembling the "what have the Romans ever done for us" scene in Life Of Brian, is unsettling. His whataboutism on trans rights and white knighting of J. K. Rowling is disgusting.
It's deeply uncomfortable. Monty Python is foundational to me, and I'm not about to try to change that, but there it is.
@voltronic I felt justified with Clapton because I always thought he was overrated. For whatever reason, I never liked him.
