The battery on my Galaxy S10e is getting old. I love this phone, but it's not giving me anywhere near a day's worth of moderate screen time at <50% brightness anymore. It otherwise works perfectly. Been looking at iFixit and thinking battery replacement is way easier than some laptop repairs I've done. I want to have #Android 13 and beyond, and would need to do LineageOS for that.
Or, I found a new phone that gets me a microSD slot (mandatory) though I love the smaller size of the S10e.
So...
@voltronic I'd say a newer phone with 5G like the A53's probably a better bet.
If you like microSD cards, Motorola, Nokia, and Oneplus phones are also worth checking out.
Some of their mid-range models have headphone jacks too.
@CIWS_35
The 5G is one of the things leaning me towards a new phone, especially now that I am finally on an unlimited data plan.
I don't see any OnePlus phones with microSD slots. I'll look into the Motorola and Nokia options.
@voltronic Yeah, there's that. I have the Oneplus N200 (a worse phone, and one released earlier) and the one OS upgrade kind of messed up a few features for a while too.
